Timeline

This timeline is approximate. The Task Force recognizes the need for haste in this planning process, but also realizes that to create an effective and truly useful document, the process cannot be rushed. The following timeline has been adopted to address both of those concerns.

Please see the progress reports, posted after each meeting, as well as the issue teams updates for information on specific progresses throughout this development process.

  • 2003
    • March- send out electronic survey of issues, train task force to lead modeling teams, and begin vision modeling effort.
    • April - collect and compile all input from the issue survey, select the critical issues for
      modeling, and send out electronic survey on mission and values.
    • May - begin modeling of critical issues, preliminary report of the vision model, and completion of revised mission statement and values.
    • June - preliminary reports of modeling committees, and final report of the vision committee.
    • July - complete modeling of the issues, and selection of vision model by CAES administration.
    • August - strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat analysis of issues.
    • September - final reports of issues to task force, and assessment of models in context of the vision.
    • October - completion of model writing.
    • November - presentation of models to administration.
    • December - appointment of teams to facilitate implementation of each model.
